Twitter are introducing lists and today I found an introduction to the beta trial.
I decided to make a list of people I know on Twitter who are associated with the University of Reading, the list is currently publicly available at http://twitter.com/shirleyearley/unirdgppl
What I am wondering about is what the role of publicly available lists and what impact my appearing on someone's list has on my digital identity.

This is really interesting - I've been resisting adding lots of people on twitter because it just gets to cluttered - but if I can segregate people into groups then I can probably keep in touch more efficiently - its also a great way to find groups of people to follow, like your list of Reading people...
